ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation plays an important role in ensuring accurate and reliable results from laboratory testing, calibration, sampling and measurement services across many industry sectors. This international standard is used by testing and calibration laboratories to demonstrate they:
- operate competently
- generate valid results
- plan and address risks and opportunities
- act impartially and protect confidentiality
- perform laboratory operations consistently.
